At China Rhinestone, quality is not a slogan — it’s a documented, tested, and verifiable commitment. We understand that international buyers, especially in the EU and North America, require strict compliance with chemical safety and durability standards.
Chemical Compliance
REACH Compliance (EU Regulation EC 1907/2006)
All our hotfix rhinestones, adhesives, and metal studs comply with EU REACH regulations. We do not use restricted substances including:
- Lead (Pb) — below 100ppm
- Nickel (Ni) — below 0.5μg/cm²/week release
- Cadmium (Cd) — below 100ppm
- Azo dyes — not detected
- Phthalates — below 0.1%
SGS Third-Party Testing
We conduct regular SGS testing on our products. Test reports are available upon request and can be included with your shipment documentation for your compliance records.
Wash Resistance Testing
The #1 concern for garment brands: will the stones stay on after washing?
Our internal QC lab conducts standardized wash tests per batch:

Test protocol follows AATCC 135 (American standard) or ISO 6330 (international standard) based on client requirements.
Adhesive Quality
We use German-imported hot-melt adhesive (Henkel-grade) for our premium and Grade A stones. Key properties:
- Activation temperature: 120–150°C
- Bond strength: 8–12 N/cm² (varies by fabric)
- Flexibility: Maintains bond on stretch fabrics (lycra, spandex)
- Chemical resistance: Withstands chlorine (swimwear) and dry cleaning solvents
Production QC Process
Stage 1: Incoming Material Inspection
Every batch of raw glass, adhesive, and transfer film is inspected upon arrival. Stones are checked for facet consistency, color accuracy, and adhesive coating uniformity.
Stage 2: In-Process Control
During production, random samples are pulled every 500 pieces for visual inspection and adhesion spot-checks.
Stage 3: Final Pre-Shipment Inspection
100% visual inspection of transfers. Random wash test (3 pieces per 1000) before packing. Defective rate target: below 0.5%.
